It's Friday! And it's the 16th day of the month, which means a new Color Hues challenge. Today we present YELLOW and GREY. We are so trendy. :D But you are not limited to just the two Pantone colours of the year, you can use any shades of the two that you like. While yellow and grey could make for an elegant floral card (as many of my teammates prove), I went a slightly different route...
I do still love these Hipster stamps! I stamped this one on watercolour paper with Zig markers in a few shades of yellow and grey. For a background, I stencilled a burlap background in distress ink. Looking through sentiments of all kinds, I thought this sticker one went well with his expression. :D
Supplies: Stampin Up basic grey cardstock, Canson watercolour paper, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Hipster stamp, MFT extreme black & hickory smoke distress ink, Zig markers, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous burlap stencil, MFT diagonal stitched rectangle die, Tim Holtz snarky small talk sticker

Wow this is awesome, the sentiment is perfect. Glad you went on a different track than floral. Shows the diversity of colours. Everytime we see a pretty colour we dig out the flowers, so nice to see different.
What a fab image, the stenciling is the perfect backdrop. :)
Darling card and so me! I need that greeting on a shirt! Love the soft background and the fun image! Way to make our colors so versatile!
Despite my bird terror, I'm rather taken by Mr. Over-thinker, Hipster Bird! If you switched his suit for a tank top, he would certainly look like me, hair standing on end and all! LOL!

The image is a hoot and so is the sentiment! Love the background, too!
I laughed out loud when I saw this. I've had bosses that looked just like that! So cute and a fun card.
