Muse: ChristmasVisions Inspiration

I'm taking a break from tag-making to be inspired by the current guest muse at Muse: ChristmasVisions, Becca. Here is her sweet and CAS Christmas card:

I was inspired by Becca's clean design, her blue-edged bird, and her use of white space. Here's my version:

I've been looking for an excuse to use this Lawn Fawn die set since I purchased it last month, and Becca's card provided the perfect opportunity. I cut the little bird from watercolour cardstock and coloured it with a cobalt Zig marker. The notes are cut from a scrap of light blue cardstock, and the mat from a darker blue. The white panel is dry-embossed with snowflakes. The little sentiment complements the music notes.
The theme at Just Us Girls this week is music! So off this goes to the link-up.
Need to add a Christmas card (or more, like me!) to your card stash? Perhaps you can be inspired, too!

Supplies: white, pale blue & royal blue cardstock, Ranger/Tim Holtz watercolour paper, tumbled glass distress oxide ink, Ranger clear embossing powder, Lawn Fawn Little Music Notes dies, (?) snowflake metal embossing plate, Zig marker

Oh, that's a perfect interpretation of my card!
I love listening to the birdies singing in my back
yard every day. This is precious.
