Colouring Challenge, Day 2

Here I am with a second card today, and for Day 2 of Kathy Racoosin's Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge! Today it is Tasha's turn to supply the images. As with the last time I played along with Kathy's colouring challenge, I'm doing my best to not just colour, but also complete a card. Here's what I made today:

So I definitely need a lot more practice with my Copic markers, but that's what the idea of this challenge is all about, to practice daily and get better! I coloured this pretty spray of flowers first, and then of course had to decide what to do with it. I liked how the outline of white from the die cutting against the dark purple panel seemed to make the flowers really pop. To keep everything match-matchy, I coloured my sentiment with the same lighter green marker I used for the leaves. Quick to put together, but I'm pleased with the result.

Supplies: white & purple cardstock, Altenew Extra Special stamp & die, Memento tuxedo black ink, Copic markers, MFT diagonal stitched & Winnie & Walter The Big, the Bold & the Happy dies
