Colouring Challenge, Day 10

Okay, so before you look at my card for Day 10 of Kathy Racoosin's The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge, you need to know a few things...

  1. I rarely make cards with people on them. I'm more a critters, or flowers, or even TARDIS kind of person.
  2. I'm still quite new to Copic marker colouring.
  3. I don't even own a lot of Copics!
Bearing that in mind, here's my card, featuring the brand new Beach Lady from Essentials by Ellen! It's handy to know company design team members, such as Ardyth. :D She sent us images from this new set to use today.

So my skin colouring reminds me of the plastic pink of my childhood Barbie doll, and to be honest, my attempt at shading/adding a bit of tan reminds me of my childhood Barbie doll if I'd played with her with grubby hands. Sigh.
Tomorrow is flowers. I think I can do better. ;)

Supplies: white cardstock, Essentials by Ellen Leading Ladies - Beach Lady stamps & dies, Unity/Jillibean Soup Watermelon Gazpacho Soup stamp, Memento tuxedo black, antique linen, vintage photo, tumbled glass & mermaid lagoon distress inks, Copic markers, Paper Smooches Borders 1 die, MFT cloud stencil

Pin It Now!

I think you did brilliantly hun. I don't have copics but I also avoid people! I actually don't think I own a person stamp!
