It's Day 9 of Kathy Racoosin's The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge, and while I'm not yet (too) tired of colouring every day, I do seem to be running out of card design mojo, and kept my card clean and simple today. (Besides, CAS is my default style, after all.) This is also the first day I forgot to take a photo of what I'd coloured before making it into a card. I don't often bother doing in-process photos — there's rarely little of interest or information to show — so it's not surprising I forgot. 😜 Here, however, is the finished card:
My cactus guy is watercoloured with distress inks, the pot needing a combination of aged mahogany and walnut stain to get the terra cotta colour I wanted.
This is also another card to throw into the challenge at Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Stamptember — Stamp It challenge.
Supplies: white cardstock, Canson watercolour paper, American Crafts Amy Tangerine Sketchbook patterned paper, Paper Smooches Comforting Hugs stamps & dies, Versafine onyx black & aged mahogany, walnut stain & peeled paint distress inks, Ranger clear embossing powder, MFT diagonal stitched rectangle dies, dimensionals
