It's the weekend! And we are leaving our teens behind with Day 20 (20!) of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event. Today we are welcoming guest and sponsor A Jillian Vance Design.
I have a small, a medium and a large tag to share today!
Not surprisingly, my favourite is the large one:
If you give me an "Oh Snap!" sentiment AND provide handy perforations on your gingerbread man, how can I not combine them? Poor gingie is cut from kraft cardstock, with a little inking around the edges for that perfectly baked look. I used a white glaze pen to add his icing face and trim... and ripped his one leg off. :o The sentiment is embossed in brown. I snuck some more plaid into my tags with the patterned paper base.
A "sweeter" gingerbread tag:
I left this guy whole, but did use the optional die cuts for his face and buttons. His minty green bow tie just happened to match a tag in my stash that I'd already coloured, yay! There's lots of Wink of Stella on his buttons and tie, that refused to show up in my grey-day photography. It's making my lemon drop buttons look rather orange in the photo, though.
And my teeny tag:
Again, my lack of photography skills means you can't really see the woodgrain embossing on the kraft tag base. I added some gold hearts to the little wreath for some interest and shine. And yes, the gingerbread man's bow tie above is actually the bow part of this wreath. Stretching my dies! :D
There are beautiful tags on Tracey's blog today as always, so you are sure to be inspired. And leave some love for the designers on their posts to increase your chances of winning a prize!
