I is for Inappropriate! I'm not sure it's possible to top Sister Lee's graphic for this post, but the Sisters have given their best. Sometimes I'm amazed I still have membership in the Sisterhood — I'm much better at being snarky in thought than deed. So here is about as inappropriate as I get (on a card):
I love to disguise snark with cute, so paired my sentiment with the most innocent of the Crazy Birds. The polka-dot background was created with translucent embossing paste coloured with one of the same purples used to colour said bird. For the card base, I lightly sponged some distress ink around the card borders. I like the almost patterned paper look it gives; I may do that again!

Funny! Inappropriatness is dependent upon the recipient! And anything is mild compared to Edna's snapshot this week!!! I love the effect your embossing paste has on the background!

You and I are in agreement regarding Lee's graphic artistry. I don't think she'll ever be able to top this one. LOL! I love your card! At first, it looks so innocent, but then you read the smaller print. AWESOME!!!
Lindsey... I.LOVE.THIS! and I love EVERYTHING about this creation of yours - the lovely soft colors, the wonderful shiney technique, that you colored that bird Pink and Purple AND that sentiment - "Way to NOT die!" I am still giggling!! Of course you are A Sister... We need some Classy, subtle sarcasm (the kind that makes you think and then WHAMO it hits You and you are laughing) to offset the In-your-face, say-it-out-loud sarcasm of some of the other Sisters (no Names here! Grin) Great job, wonderful card!

I love the way you look at this and think "What a lovely card" and then take a closer look at the sentiment and go "Whaaaaaaat?" - humour is at its best when it hits you like a bolt from the blue!
