Not sure where it went, but October is gone and November has begun! And with a new month comes a new Naughty or Nice challenge!
Don't Pull Your Punches... we are looking for punched or die cut items on your card or other crafty project. Remember punches? Most of mine sit quietly in a drawer while I die cut things for most of my cards. So I decided to set myself the extra challenge of NOT using dies, just punches. Somewhere along the line, I went nice over naughty...
I went so nice, I even used a stamp set designed by my Naughty or Nice teammate, Danielle! I used punches in two different ways. For my background, I used a treeline punch as a mask to sponge the sky. Before I removed the mask, I also spritzed the sky with some shimmer mist. It's a Christmas card, after all. :D I stamped and watercoloured the cute bunnies and added a few shadows to the snow. The glittery snowflakes embellishing the sentiment are from a punch I've had since my teaching days... six Christmas images on a wheel, and I think it might have cost me $5 from a book club.
Do you have a paper punch or four lying around in your supplies? Even if you don't, dies will do, so I hope you'll join us!
Supplies: Bazzill marshmallow cardstock, Strathmore mixed media paper, Taylored Expressions Ready, Set, Snow stamps, Versafine Smokey Grey & spun sugar & tumbled glass distress ink, Zing clear embossing powder, Zig clean colour real brush markers, EK Success Alpine Trail & Troll Christmas punches, Wow ash ultra-fine glitter, Imagine Crafts sparkle shimmer spritz, fun foam

Lovely card, Lindsey! Great ways to use punches... I cheated and went the die-cut route, Jo x
LOL I cheated too with dies ;) Danielle's little mice are soooo cute!
I don't know if I cold get to my punches for the layer of dust on them! Actually not true - I use my square punch all the time to make flags. :) Love those adorable little bunnies!
