Yay, it's time for a new Seize the Birthday! It was my turn to pick our challenge *topping* and I chose CREATE A SCENE. (Of course I considered calling it "make a scene"... :D) I decided to create a little birthday concert scene:
To start, I stamped, embossed and watercolored my trio of animals. Rather than layer die cuts, I stamped the maestro chick on top of the music stand, as well as the musical score. This meant fussy cutting it, but I was able to die cut the owl and raccoon. For the background, I very lightly blended ink for the floor, then added a little stencilling over top for a bit of hardwood texture. (So light it's not really showing up in the photos.) The stage background is sponged lightly in pale green. I used my thinner foam tape to pop up the maestro, and regular foam tape for the musicians.

Adorable little critter, awesome colouring and a super cute scene.
A charming trio of musicians on this cute card. I can hear them playing Happy Birthday from here. Lol
Next time go with your gut and call it as it is! So funny! That is where my brain went too! Love your musically inclined trio! Great topping idea! Have a great day!
If I tilt my head just so, I can hear their concert. A trio of adorable (even the maestro bird)!

This is such a really cute little scene. Love your little mini orchestra.
I wonder why they need the instruments at all! They could just make some noise and that would be just as wonderful!! :D :D Anyway, I they make for the cutest card, so no complaints there!!
You've created a sweet scene! I love the wavy sentiment and your photo prop too :) !

In the UK create a scene and make a scene are the same, so I was there ;) I love your little indoor scene, great job with the fussy cutting.
