The Sisterhood of Penguin Stampers

Happy Saturday! If you are reading this, it means both of us survived Friday the 13th! :D Today begins a new Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenge: P is for PENGUIN. But wait, I hear you thinking, penguins are cute, not snarky! And yet, somehow the sisters manage. ;)
Here is my mildly snarky take on the theme:

It was great to have an excuse to dig this Unity stamp set out! The expression on his face is perfect. And it's almost tempting to use "have a safe holiday" on EVERY card this year, sigh. All the stamps are embossed in clear embossing powder, and penguin is coloured with Copics. Stickles on his hat, and puffy snow where it was needed.

Remember, your card doesn't even have to be snarky to play along with us, it just needs a penguin! Brilliant inspiration from my sisters in snark, as well as our current guest designer and reigning Queen of Snark, Lauren. Waddle over and join the fun!

Supplies: Neenah white & Fabriano blue cardstock, UnityPain & Pride stamps, Versafine onyx black ink, Wow clear gloss embossing powder, Copic markers, frosted lace Stickles, Marvy/Uchida snow marker

  3. This is so funny and adorable, and also true! What a fun challenge and cute card. Gosh, I wish I had known about this challenge when I posted my penguin card yesterday, but this will be a good excuse to take some of my many other penguins out to play this week.

  7. That expression is awesome! The sentiment one I heard often, growing up! Hilarious! I may need to bring out one of my zillion penguin sets and play along; an interlude from tagging!
