Somehow, November seems to be flying by, and it's already time for a new
Inkspirational challenge: Frame It! I don't know why I couldn't just use a normal frame in a normal way, but here's mine:
I had to have this set when Tim Holtz and Simon Says Stamp introduced it this past STAMPtember. (Little did I know he'd be bringing out a second version shortly after...) I've been looking for a chance to ink at least one up, and this guy in the stocking seemed particularly frameable. Non-traditional colours seemed like a fun way to go for his stocking, and then I found some cardstock that was a close match. Both these frames were already cut and waiting in my bag o' frames. I layered a little vellum behind them just so the cardstock didn't take anything away from my cat.
With a frame being the only stipulation, you will find a wide variety of projects on the Inkspirational blog! Why not put something in a frame and join us?
Supplies: Neenah white & assorted purple & grey cardstock, vellum, Master's Touch watercolour paper, Tim Holtz/Stamper's Anonymous Stamptember & Technique Tuesday Dear Santa stamps, Versafine onyx black & Simon Says Stamp extreme black ink, Wow clear gloss embossing powder, Zig markers, Paper Smooches Frame 3 & MFT diagonal stitched rectangle dies, foam tape
This is simply adorable. Love the look on that kitty's face, and the sentiment is perfect.
ReplyDeleteHe came out with more wonky cats??? I always laugh at the sentiment. If ya have to ask, chances are you’re on the naughty list. 😄
