25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 17

Welcome to Day 17 of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags, hosted by Tracey McNeely! Today we welcome guest and sponsor Picket Fence Studios!

One of my favourite Picket Fence Christmas sets is On a Christmas Walk. I love this rustic little snowman!

Look how happy he is to receive this present! He and the gift are coloured with Copic markers. I used some distress oxide ink to blend a sky, then spritzed the tag with shimmer mist. Instead of a sentiment, I used a patterned paper date block.

While the markers were out, I also coloured this little deer:

It never hurts to have a few neutral-coloured tags on hand, so I kept this one simple with some polka dot paper and another patterned paper sentiment. The gold jingle bells add a little glitz.

Speaking of glitz:

Picket Fence also makes dies for foiling! In iridescent silver foil on black, this giant sentiment didn't need too much else. Again the patterned paper came in handy.

On Traceys blog, you will find beautiful inspiration, as always, from today's designers and my fellow tag team mates! Play along with us by commenting on designers' posts, and/or by making inspired tags of your own!

  2. Love your fun tags. I have this set, and have never inked up that snowman. Shame on me, but now that I see how cute he is, it won't be long before I ink up mine. And, wow for that card. Really packs a punch and shine.
