25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 18

Here we are at Day 18 of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags! If you need a refresher on what all the festive fuss is about, click here for all the details as well as the main link-up.
Today we are welcoming Neat & Tangled

Neat & Tangled sent the Tag Team a bunch of fun goodies to play with. Here is tag #1 from me:

It felt like it was time to do some ink blending, so I used three colours of distress oxide ink for the tag base. I also spritzed it with shimmer mist, because Christmas. After letting it dry, I white-embossed the snowflakes, then added the banner and main sentiment. A couple of ribbons finished everything off.

Tag number 2!

This falls into the "what supplies can I use next?" category. :D I hardly ever think to reach for the one multi-colour Kaleidacolor ink pad I have, but with a big sentiment such as this, it seemed ideal. It's inked on a cream tag, with panels of rich razzleberry at the top and bottom - and yes, I even had some matching ribbon!

And a third, quick and simple tag:

The tag outline and holly are both embossed in green glitter embossing powder! Glitter glue colours the berries. There hasn't been nearly enough plaid in my tags this year, so I found some plaid ribbon and added a couple of jingle bells as well. And another tag you can write on the front! :D
Of course there are lots of tags to admire on Tracey's blog today, from my tag friends as well as members of the Neat & Tangled design team. Are you playing along? There are prizes to be won!

  15. This is a lovely collection of tags. Your snowy blended background is lovely. I really like how you did the multicolor inking on your big bold sentiment tag, and your final tag has that wow factor with the green glitter and plaid ribbon.
