25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 15

Welcome to Day 15 of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags! New to this event? Click here
Day 15 wecomes guest and sponsor, Concord & 9th!

I had great fun making this trio of tags:

For the first two tags I made, I inked up a festive Turnabout stamp - and even remembered to photograph it before cutting it up! :D

Even with all the tools, I rarely stamp these perfectly, but that's almost always okay! Once I had stamped this, I cut two tags from it using one of the Holiday Cheer tag dies. First I made this:

To get the larger red tag base, I simply layered the smaller tag on a slightly larger rectangle, then trimmed the two top corners. I stamped the tree, the ornaments, the sentiment (making it fancy with some perforations) then put it all together and topped the tree with a gold star.
Second tag:

I like that C&9th has included a die for cutting out the ornament AFTER you layer the hanger on top. I also like that the Happy Holidays sentiment just barely fits the width of the tag. :D
Since I had the Holiday Cheer dies out, of course I was going to make another tag:

The tag tucked in, and...

... pulled out. I cut the tag and the centre ornament (okay, slightly off-centre; I am CONVINCED it moved when I laid the top plate on, despite being taped) at the same time, then folded and adhered it into its pocket form. A few stamps on the insert, and all done!
So much inspiration on Tracey's blog today, as always! Don't forget there are prizes, too! :)

  4. Awesome trio of tags, That tool sounds interesting and would take patience and as Bunny said, paper moves, yours couldn't have moved much as it look fantastic. I'm glad all the tags can be made in my time constraints today. Toto required lap time last night so my last two catch up ones didn't get done but are in pieces.
