Day 14 - and we begin the second half of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags extravaganza! If you're just joining the party, all the details can be found here. Our Day 14 guest and sponsor is Paper Sweeties!
I am using the Paper Sweeties set Meet Me Under the Mistletoe. I decided to play with the JOY sentiment, with its ornamental font. I ended up with a quartet of small tags!
The embossing powders came out to play, too. (I have a few more tags that, while I will certainly use, didn't quite make the blog cut, as the embossing powders I tried didn't leave as clear images as these did.) These were fun and easy to put together, and I think will be perfect for those smaller gifts under the tree. Here's a closer look at each:
Visit Tracey's blog today to see all the inspiration from some of the Paper Sweeties team, as well as our own Tag Team! Remember you can be eligible for a prize by making tags inspired by any of the tags today, or simply by commenting on designers' posts.
Thank you to all our sponsors! |
What a beautiful font for your Joy tags, So thee were the Fabulous Four!! super job. Today looks like a tag making day for me. You might be half way but I'm not. But I'm having fun.
ReplyDeleteThe heat embossing makes the tags very elegant with that ornamental word image. Pretty on the dark colors!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully embossed small tags. I JUST got a small tag die so this is quite the inspiration. [Bunny]

ReplyDeleteYou are so clever to make a collection of small tags. They are all wonderful and remind me of how striking embossing can be. Well done!!
ReplyDeleteOh, Lindsey...your tags are beautiful. I was chatting with Tracey about my inability to emboss well. She gave me some tips that I'm trying, and it's a work in progress. As a paper Sweeties DT member, I do have this set and I've tried this very tag more than once. I don't ever get the clean crisp embossing you've got going on here, so this not only inspires me, but it challenges me. I need to watch some tutorials, listen to what Tracey told me, use the proper tools, and LEARN how to do this effectively. It's lovely. THanks for sharing your inspiration again today. You really are inspiring me with your lovely art each day.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Karen Letchworth
