Day 8! We are beginning the second week of Tracey McNeeley's 25 Days of Christmas Tags. Today we welcome Uniko!
Uniko sent Tracey's design team two beautiful Christmas stamp sets that work perfectly together and offer a wealth of design possibilities. For my first tag, I went for classic red and white:
I stamped Uniko's Background Builders stamp twice on my red cardstock and embossed it in white. The sentiment from Simply Said Blocks: Christmas is also embossed in white. With a fun framed tag, this was quick and easy to put together. Easy enough, in fact, that I challenged myself a bit more for a second tag:
This time I made a simple plaid-ish background for my glittery string of lights. The light bulbs are outline stamps, so I used a very small brush to fill them in with the same ink they were stamped in. I then used a glitter pen to add shimmer to the string and lights. The lights also got a coating of glossy accents. Another block sentiment finished the almost one layer tag.
For more inspiration, be sure to visit Tracey's blog, where you will see many more tags created by the Uniko design team as well as the rest of Tracey's tag team! You will also find all the details on how you can participate and perhaps win a prize.
