Crossword Bird II

There are some stamps I have that I really like, but struggle to figure out how to use. The crossword bird from the Unity October 2010 Kit of the Month is one of them. Here's my latest try:

What you can't see in this taken-after-dark pic (and alas, this was the best of a dark lot :P) is that the bird itself is stamped again and popped up on the rest of the image. The bird qualifies this card for the current Unity challenge, while the colours fit this week's Play Date Café challenge.

Supplies: white, red & pink cardstock, DCWV Christmas Stack patterned paper, Unity October 2010 Kit of the Month, VersaMagic red magic chalk ink, Stormy Sky distress ink, Tim Holtz symphony tissue tape, pop dot tape

    I love this, Lindsey! You rocked this week's PDCC colours. I know what you mean about that crossword bird 'cause I still haven't used it! (As for after-dark photos, the entire day was dark here. Hear the thunder rumble!)

    I think your crossbird looks great! The tape is a great addition, too (not that I'm biased...)
    Oh, and yesterday was pretty lovely here, not that I had time to photograph anything...and today it's storming all day! Can't win.

    I really like how you tied the circle of the stamp to the circular image on the patterned paper. And then there's the words on the tape tied to the crossword! Genius:)

    this is a cute image but I get how difficult it would be to use. you did a great job and I can tell that there is an additional layer. I also love your earlier bunny card too!!
