Welcome to a new Seize the Birthday challenge! Our newest (always optional) topping is DICHROMATIC. Or, in other words, make a two-colour card. We have one other stipulation if you choose to go with the theme - no metallics. Neutrals are allowed. I looked through a few stamp sets, and found one that lent itself to two colours:
As you can see, I was also influenced by the stamp packaging and used the same two colours, pink and green. The floral branch is stamped and clear embossed on watercolour cardstock. I used two shades of pink for the flowers and one green for the stem and leaves. I really like the font of the sentiments in this set too, but there's no birthday one, so I used one from another set instead. I also added a few watercolour splatters and a trio of black Nuvo drops.
Beautiful cards in an assortment of colour pairings from my StB teammates and our current surprise party guest, Vicky! I hope you will be inspired to join us.
Supplies: Hero Arts green layering cardstock, Canson watercolour paper, Taylored Expressions Bursting Blooms & Clearly Besotted Say What stamps, Versafine onyx black ink, Wow clear gloss embossing powder, Zig markers, Winnie & Walter Katharine Cutaways pierced rectangle die, black Nuvo Drops
This is beautiful, Lindsey! So dainty and perfect for a two-colour treatment, Jo x
