Addicted to Stamps and More is back with a new Die Cuts and Stencils challenge! My love for layering stencils for colouring continues, so that is what I used for today's card:
The last time I used this stamp and stencil set, I used blues, so this time decided to try pinks and purples. I definitely like it both ways! For the sentiment, I die cut the sentiment outline in both white and black cardstock. I stamped and embossed "best" and "ever" in black, and "day" in gold pearl embossing powder. The beginning of the sentiment is stamped and embossed right on the gold banner, then the two layers of die cuts offset slightly for dimension.
My teammates' cards cover a range of colours, occasions and use of stencils and die cuts! Be sure to visit the ATSM blog, and then play along!

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card, Lindsey! Love the layered floral background and the shimmery banner looks great on it. I really like how you built up the sentiment layers and mixed up stamping and die-cutting for a bold look.

This is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWOW, this card is so pretty ! I understand why this stamp and stencil set had to come and live at your home...they make such beautiful backgrounds together. Can't choose a favourite either between the blue hues or the pink ones. And this gold banner looks fabulous on top. Have a great weekend, stay safe and keep crafting ! x
