Addicted to Stamps and More: Birthdays

Welcome to a new Addicted to Stamps and More challenge! Birthdays is another of our challenges new for 2021. I pulled out another Concord & 9th turnabout stamp and die set for my card:

I am far from achieving perfection with this particular turnabout, but on this, my second attempt, I decided it was, um, close enough. :D Then I got going with the coordinating die set, cutting everything in white except for the branch, which I cut out of brown cardstock. I blended the bird with the same blue ink as I used on the background, then for the tail and wing swiped the small pieces directly on the ink pad. For his beak, I did the same on the yellow pad. His eye and feet are coloured with a Copic marker. I also used the yellow ink to colour the edges of the card base before adhering the rest of the card together.

There is a terrific range of birthday cards awaiting you on the ATSM blog! And you can never have too many birthday cards, so why not make one or more and join us!

Supplies: Neenah white & scrap brown cardstock, Concord & 9th Birdie Talk Birdie Talk stamps & dies, Catherine Pooler stone blue, melon ice, bellini & tiara ink, warm grey Copic marker
