Today is Day 19 of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event! Today we are welcoming Waffle Flower as our guest and sponsor!
I think my teammate Joyce and I both count Waffle Flower's little mouse amongst our favourites. I used him to make a pair of tags:
I decided to break out of my red-is-best habit and watercolored one with blue accessories and one with green. I had a sentiment ink match for the blue, but went with black ink for the other sentiment. This little mouse set also comes with the world's smallest heart stamp, which on the blue tag I decided to stamp multiple times with the world's palest pink ink. At least you can see it in real life, and just barely in my close up. ;) On the other tag I added a few iridescent confetti.
This cat is from Hello Stampurr, not a Christmas set, but a big red bow makes her quite festive! A big sentiment and some patterned paper make this just Christmasy enough.
Supplies: (tags) Master's Studio watercolour paper, Waffle Flower Thankful Mouse & Holiday Hugs stamps, Versafine onyx black, Memento angel pink & Memento Luxe daube blue ink, Wow clear gloss & Hero Arts clear sparkle embossing powder, Zig markers, CUTplorations manila tag die, Lawn Fawn liquid stardust, Studio Katia majestic confetti, scrap ribbon & silver elastic cord; (card) Neenah white & Recollections black cardstock, Studio Calico Magical patterned paper, Canson watercolour paper, Waffle Flower Hello Stampurr stamp & die, Holiday Hugs stamp, Versafine onyx black ink, Wow clear gloss embossing powder, Zig markers, scrap oval die cut
Loving the tags and your card! I now want both stamps VERY much, Jo x
ReplyDeleteLove what you created!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute tags and the card is great too, nice to have a cat to chase the mice, unless it's a spoiled cat who doesn't know what a mouse is. I can see the little hearts, took a bit but I don't have strong enough cheaters. Fabulous colouring too.
ReplyDeleteADORABLE card and TAGS! Love these mice!
ReplyDeleteI could see them in the close up. Them being the hearts. Very cute tags. Especially the mice. I'm sure they're drinking hot chocolate. [Bunny]

Your 'paper' mice are adorable (unlike the real ones in Lily's little pool last summer...ick!) and yes, including a cat is the right thing to do! Purr-fect card!

ReplyDeleteI like the texture to the tags. Not sure if that's the paper or another addition.
