Another Saturday has appeared, and with it, a new Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenge: I is for Inks! I know at least a few of the sistahs have tattoos, although I don't think anyone has inked themselves to the extent that Edna has for this week. :D I don't believe a lot of tattooists are allowed to be open at the moment, so we're looking for your inks on a card or other project. Here's mine:
I went the distress ink route - I did break out my alcohol inks, but the backgrounds I made weren't encouraging me in the snark direction. This Altenew stencil allows for lots of ink use, though! The cat and his water bowl of former aquarium dwellers are watercoloured in distress inks as well, to keep with the theme. I added the little x's to the late fishies' bodies with a Sharpie pen. The sentiment is from Tim Holtz.
I'm adding my card to the current Wednesday Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes challenge.
The snarky sisters have had great fun getting all their inks out, and so has our current Queen of Snark and guest designer, Stephanie! Why not get inky and join us?
Supplies: Neenah white & Recollections black cardstock, Ranger watercolour paper, MFT Cat-itude stamps & dies, Versafine onyx black & shaded lilac, wilted violet, carved pumpkin, squeezed lemonade & candied apple distress inks, Altenew Weave Builder stencil, Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Snarky Small Talk sticker, Sharpie pen, Foam tape

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Your cat, fish and sentiment gave me a laugh! Back when my niece was younger, and we'd *get in trouble* for something, her line was always, "Aunty c wasn't keeping an eye on me"! I may have coached her a 'bit' to say that! Too funny! Your stencil background: inky delight. I think I have that cube stencil...somewhere!
