Welcome to Day 6 of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags! We have another fun guest and sponsor today: Paper Sweeties!
Paper Sweeties offered Tracey's tag team their choice of stamp sets to make our tags, and I chose the sweet set, Deck the Halls and made this:
How cute is this little scene! I masked the little Santa hat to fit on the bird's head, coloured him and his fancy birdhouse, and fussy cut them both. I used the snowflake stamp included in the set to decorate the blue tag base, then put everything together. The birdhouse has white glaze pen on the gingerbread, and white Nuvo drops for the snow. Of course the Christmas lights have glossy accents. The addition of the same Nuvo drops to the background was probably a step too far, but there they are anyway. :D
For details on how to participate in this fun event - and perhaps win a prize! - visit Tracey's blog, where you'll also see the fabulous makes by the Paper Sweeties team as well as Tracey's team. I hope you'll come and join us!
