25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 18

Here we are already at Day 18 of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event! Today we welcome Neat & Tangled as our guest and sponsor.

Neat & Tangled sent the design team a fun stamp and die set called Snow Fun, and it was a delight to make a couple of tags with them! Here's the first one:

I like the way the little bird nestles into the snowman's arm/branch. And the way the snowman's looking at the bird! Clearly they're good friends, and so the sentiment works perfectly. I sponged a little distress oxide ink onto the tag base for a hint of sky, and of course had to add glitter to the hats and snow base. The various elements are coloured with Copic markers for Kathy Racoosin's The Daily Marker 30 Day colouring challenge.

I made one more tag, this a quick and simple one:

For some reason, I think this tag is hilarious, but no one else in the house seems to agree with me, so I guess it's just me. This time I used Twinkling H2Os on the tag base for a sparkly sky, and puffy snow to the top of the sign.

As always, there is a ton of tag inspiration to be had on Tracey's blog, from the Neat & Tangled team as well as my tag team friends! You can also find out the different ways to participate in the event, and perhaps win a prize!

Our fantastic sponsors!

  1. Super sweet tags Lindsey, the first one is perfect with this sentiment, they are looking at each other with real admiration, lol. As for the second one, I think it's hilarious too... Brrr says it all, it is so cold on that hill that NO ONE is there. Haha
