Hooray for the weekend! It's Day 17 of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event, and today we are welcoming Avery Elle as our guest and sponsor.
As I looked through my Avery Elle stamps, I stopped at my Monsters set, which usually sees its heaviest use for Halloween cards. But there's a monster with wings! Practically angelic!
I think this will be a perfect tag on a gift for my youngest nephew. And besides, why should yetis be the only ones in the spotlight at Christmas? With his wings, I felt he should be levitating out of his gift box. Since it's a tag for a boy, I didn't want to go overboard on the bling, but thought a trio of iridescent stars was just right.
A little Copic colouring adds this to Kathy Racoosin's The Daily Marker 30 Day colouring challenge.
My tag may be the most "out of the box" (LOL, I'm here all week, folks) but head to Tracey's blog for lots more tag inspiration, from the Avery Elle designers and of course my tag design friends. You can also find out the different ways you can participate, and perhaps win a prize!
