25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 16

TGIF! It's Friday, and Day 16 of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event, where today our guest and sponsor is Ellen Hutson, LLC.

One of my favourite recent stamp sets from Ellen Hutson's Essentials by Ellen line is Mountain Holiday, designed by June Ebersole. I was thrilled when the Tag design team received it for Tracey's tag event! I made a pair of tags:

As I looked at this set, I thought the mountain peak would make a fun tag top. So I started by stamping and embossing the mountain twice, then cut tag shapes around them. I added some mountain slopes by sponging pale blue ink using a curved mask. My two skiers are coloured with Copic markers - check off another day of Kathy Racoosin's The Daily Marker 30 Day colouring challenge!

There are many more tags to inspire you on Tracey's blog, as well as all the information you need to know on how you can participate and maybe win a prize from one of the generous sponsors below. Come and play along!

Supplies: Neenah white cardstock, Ellen Hutson Mountain Holiday stamps and dies, Versafine onyx black & Versacolour baby blue inks, Ranger clear & Hero Arts white satin pearl embossing powder, Copic markers, Twinery twine, small hole punch, foam tape

  8. Such darling skiing tags, Lindsey. I love how the tops of the tags look like mountain peeks. Although my downhill skiing tags are long done, I really love these fun tags. Thanks for inspiring us once again.
