Well look at that... it's Tuesday, and our guest and sponsor today for Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags is Technique Tuesday! Coincidence? I think not. ;)
I have a very favourite Technique Tuesday Christmas set, and that is Dear Santa. Santa himself has a classic, traditional style, and the sentiments have so many possibilities. Full disclosure, I used this set for a tag last year too, so I found a new way to present it this time around:
I coloured my jolly elf with Copic markers (another day meeting Kathy Racoosin's The Daily Marker 30 Day colouring challenge) and fussy cut him before adhering him to the bottom portion of this kraft tag. At the top I added a simple sentiment. If you look closely, there's a fold mark between the sentiment and Santa. When you open the tag...
Zing! 😂 About time for a little snark on a tag. The tag design is inspired by a recent creation by my talented friend, Emily. I chose to have the front flap bend instead of the back one. There's still lots of the room on the back of the tag to add names and a message.
Now It's your turn! Comment on the designers' tags (the Technique Tuesday team as well as Tracey's team), be inspired to make a tag of your own, or both - participating puts you in the running to win one of the great prizes offered by our generous sponsors. Tracey's blog has all the details.
Supplies: Neenah white & desert storm cardstock, Technique Tuesday Dear Santa stamps, Versamark, Versafine onyx black & Stamping' Up real red inks, Ranger clear & Wow white embossing powder, Copic markers, Papertrey Ink Tag Sale #2 die, Offray red & scrap silver ribbon, foam tape
