25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 10

Day 10, double digits for Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event! Today we are welcoming Studio Katia to the party.

I'm extra excited as this is a relatively new CANADIAN company! Studio Katia sent Tracey's designers our choice of tag and die sets, plus embellishments - and then threw in a tag die as a surprise! Using Holiday Village stamps and dies, I watercolored all the houses plus several trees and a couple of snowmen.

That gave me lots of options to mix and match into a little tag scene:

Using two of the houses seemed to work best with this sentiment. Although I cut a dark blue cardstock tag base, I decided I really needed a sponged and sparkly-splattered sky. After putting it all together, I found some REALLY old dark blue ribbon to finish it. (Anyone else remember White Rose craft and floral stores?) :D
Lots of watercoloring for Kathy Racoosin's The Daily Marker 30 Day colouring challenge!

Studio Katia's design team has lots of inspiration to offer today, as do my tag teammates! You can play along by commenting on designers' posts, by being inspired to make a tag of your own, or both! Tracey's blog has all the details.

  3. I adore your little scene here; two sweet houses that are perfect for the sentiment! Love this! I, too, have another set of houses coloured, but opted for one set coloured, one not for my tags. Guess I'll have to make cards from the others *grin*...

  5. I love your sweet tag, Lindsey. The background is cool and the little scene you created is wonderful. Your creativity inspires me so much, and I'm very excited to start crafting again (just as soon as doc says I'm allowed to lift my arm, and when it doesn't hurt like the dickens any more). You have given me so many FAB ideas.
    Have a blessed day,
