It's Day 3 of Tracey McNeeley's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event! Today is sponsored by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.
Sad to say, my stash of suitable CAS-ual Friday stamps is small, so I decided to play along and be inspired by the design team. I chose Nora Noll's tag for its monochromatic design, central sentiment, non-traditional colour and fun crinkly ribbon.
Here's my version in blue:
My "joy" has music script all over it, so I used a background stamp with music as well. I stamped the background off once so that it wouldn't compete too much with the sentiment. The ribbon is some delightful manmade fabric that shrinks and crinkles with heat gun application. Since everything matches so well (better in real life than in photos) I imagine there will never be wrapping paper in my house this will go with.
My snowflake is so shiny! Here's a better look:
Simon Says Stamp is looking for tags for their Wednesday challenge, so I'll link this up there.
