Here I am, up to double digits in my personal challenge to play in each day of Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags. :)
Day Ten is sponsored by Lawn Fawn, and I had every intention of using a new Christmas set I bought a month or so ago. Then I saw Roxanne O'Brien's tags, and changed my mind.
I was obviously inspired by Roxanne's use of a munched gingerbread and her "Oh Snap" sentiment. My version happens to come from Essentials by Ellen. Since this gingerbread is a solid stamp, I didn't have to colour him, simply stamp and emboss. When I cut him out, I ripped a rough edge across the one leg to go with the missing appendage. I used distress ink and a small acrylic block to create my ink smooshed background. A sentiment and some twine and this tag was done. Much more my speed than yesterday's extravaganza. ;)
Supplies: white cardstock, Strathmore watercolour paper, Essentials by Ellen Tis the Season stamps, Memento tuxedo black, Brilliance coffee bean & mowed lawn distress inks, Zing clear embossing powder, Paper Smooches stitched tag die, green Divine Twine, pop-dot tape
As soon as I saw his expression, my brain thought "Oh, no, Mr Bill!" :D
ReplyDeleteOh no Mr. Bill!!! ROFLMAO Thank you so much for linking up to the 25 Days of Christmas Tags!
ReplyDeleteTHAT FACE!!!! I also thought of Mr. Bill! LOL! Love this one!
ReplyDeleteLove it. It has gingerbread on it, it has watercolour on it and it has your signature clever sentiment. It's a definite winner.
