We don't generally go for a lot of complicated instructions in the Sisterhood, so I'd say this can be interpreted as a fancily folded card, a fancy fold ON your card... or some fancy folding that creates something entirely different! And while I briefly thought about making an origami fortune-teller, I did end up going the card route. I wandered around on Splitcoast Stampers for quite a while, and decided to try a spring card.
Just by coincidence, my spring card is... for spring! Well, Easter. I think it might be spring here by then. The bunnies and grass are die cut, the sentiment is computer generated (must add at least one Easter sentiment to my collection, I suppose) and I used a couple of different scraps of patterned paper to help decorate it, too.
Meanwhile, as I was putting the finishing details on this card, Julie Ebersole decided she would go all fancy fold in a tutorial at The CLASSroom. Lucky Julie had a die to help her make hers, but I wasn't going to let a lack of modern technology stop me from trying something similar! The front:
Open the flaps, and get...
Open again, and:
(The plaid is the only part of the card seen twice.) Open yet again...
And the final side appears. Phew!
(Should you wish to try your hand at this, Googling "never ending card" will give you lots of instructions to peruse.)
And then, for whatever reason, I decided to make another spring card. Obviously I was possessed.
I'm going to add this guy to the current Paper Smooches Anything Goes challenge.
And there you have it! If my fancy folds haven't inspired you, wait until you see what my sisters in snarkdom have dreamed up. As always, we would love to have you join us!
