Colouring Challenge, Day 14

Day 14 of The Daily Marker 30 Day colouring Challenge! Since it's my images our colouring group of friends are using today, I was able to take the opportunity to do some masking to make my scene:

Although I wandered a long way from it, I also looked to the current MFT Sketch Challenge for some inspiration. I turned the sketch, increased the size of the rectangle, and basically ignored the other parts of the sketch. I hope it is still accepted!
I started by stamping the floor lamp, then used masking tape to mark off a rectangle and the glow from the lamp. (And yes, I know there should be light coming out the top, too, but this was hard enough! :P) I moved some of the taped areas so I could add the dark blue background.
Next up was my reading girl. I stamped the little kitty first, then masked him to add the girl in her armchair. Copic colouring came next, then fussy cutting. A sweet sentiment finished the card.
