Good morning! I hope most of you were able to enjoy the extra hour that the end of daylight savings time gave us overnight. I'm excited to be sharing an inspiration tag today for Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event!
For Day 6, some crafty friends and and I are joining Tracey to offer up some tag inspiration for you. Yesterday Tracey, Emily Leiphart, Ardyth Percy-Robb, Natasha Kara, Stephanie Klauk and I got together for a day of fun, food and crafting. I was able to use a stamp set of Steph's and a tag die of Ardyth's to put together this fun tag:
As I said several times over the course of the afternoon... I LOVE this penguin! A penguin with a little attitude is my favourite kind. I started by die cutting the watercolour tag and adding a sky and his ski tracks with distress inks, as well as spraying it with some shimmer mist. My dude is stamped, embossed, coloured with watercolour markers and die cut as well. After I popped him on his tag base, I had to add glitter to his hat and glossy accents to his goggles. A bit of a close-up:
