Christmas Tags Day 3

Can you tell I'm having fun playing along with Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags? ;) I'm up to Day 3, and this time I'm totally inspired by Jenn Shurkus' tag. There's a cat, there's patterned paper, there's a white-embossed sentiment on red, there's a snow stencil... really, the choice was obvious, although the tags are all so good, I may have to go back and revisit a few more. In the meantime, here's my take on the tag:

I have had this cat stamp forever, and truth be told, it may have come from a dollar store. Since Jenn coloured hers based on her cat, I used Duncan as my model, too. Although he has a lot more grey and a lot less white. I used the same stencil as Jenn for my snow, but instead of shaved ice, I used some Stickles on the sentiment for a snowy look.
You wouldn't know it, but I've been making cards, too, and not just tags... I may have to start doubling up my posts!

Supplies: manila tag, Spectrum Noir white & Stampin' Up real red cardstock, Studio Calico Magical patterned paper, Westover Enterprises & Hero Arts Family and Friends stamps, Memento Luxe grey flannel & Versamark inks, Zing clear & Wow white embossing powders, Spectrum Noir markers, Simon Says Stamp falling snowflakes stencil, Dreamweavers glossy white embossing paste, Stampin' Up dazzling diamonds glitter, frosted lace Stickles, Hemptique twine, pop-dot tape

Pin It Now!

3-for-3 - way to go! If I gave gifts, I'd make tags, but I don't, so I don't. Fun to see other people's tags, though!

Love this tag. Have loved all of them so far - even Monday's card and tag. But of course I had to comment on the cat tag. :-)
